Patuakhali District surveillance team with Dr. Michael Schwartz (left) and smallpox reward banner. The poster reads 'Give information about smallpox here and collect a 500-taka reward'. Ten banners were made for display at Patuakhali's boat landings. Patuakhali District is adjacent to Bhola Island, where the last case of smallpox occurred.

The banner was designed by Dr Schwartz and painted by Subash Chandra Debnath, Puran Bazaar, Patuakhali District.
